Can someone PLEASE remind Saagar that BLM protests were 6 years ago and ask him to stop using them as justification for literally ANYTHING he sees as a liberal protest cause? It just always comes off like he’s pushing regime propaganda. Find some other way to try to support your points. Jfc.

I would be interested in Saagar's theory of change.

He's comparing BLM protesters to German Anarchists, or like pogroms or something. And I don't know enough about the history to say confidently, but that seems like quite an overstep.

We're talking about isolated but significant destruction of property. We're not talking about widespread directed killings and assassinations. And Saagar has been around Krystal and Ryan enough to know that there is no real coordination or cohesion in the Left that even could do that, let alone one that would.

And frankly, Mamdani is pretty much my last hope for change within the political system. If he gets coopted or blocked from implementing his goals...

So we shouldn't be harassing parishioners during a service. I agree with Krystal, that it's a optics own-goal, but that it's laudable that people are acting to stand up against a tyrannical government (and go farther and laude the J6rs, at least the ones who were misled and not the cynical instigators and ...

Can someone who shares Saagars general worldview explain his position on the church/ICE situation? I genuinely don’t understand what he’s saying. It seems like he was saying “Churches have no rights to protect them and their congregations from government force because I have seen that undocumented criminals have lived in some. But also the federal/state/city government has an imperative to prosecute and jail protestors (mob, gathering whatever you want to call it) because I hate BLM Twitter liberals”

I mean is that really the core argument? It seems like that’s what he always falls back on. “This is justified because 2020 BLM was insane.” I think a lot of it is cringe and destructive as well but…

Idk someone help me out here. Am I misunderstanding or is that actually what it is?
