Here is a local update on North Carolina and AI.

The AI developer has withdrawn there proposal to create a data center l. This was in large part due to the Town hall in Matthews that was packed to the brim with outrage about there electric bill. Shoutout to @ryangrim for bringing this to my communities attention!

I'd just like to highlight that there still seems to be a fundamental misunderstanding of AI on Breaking Points. I'm not an AI expert but I'm pretty deep into tech. One of those things of how you never quite realize how much the media gets wrong until they start talking about a subject you know more about than average. That author that was on recently, making some pretty apocalyptic statements about the future of AI, said something that was pretty illustrative of his misunderstanding. He gave an example of AI seemingly misbehaving, and said that we didn't know if the AI was "playacting" or not. Playacting would suggest that AI can make choices but it absolutely can not. ChatGPT and other LLMs are entirely deterministic. There's some variables including RNGs (Random Number Generators) that make the statistics under the hood feel more human. But given the same RNG values and other inputs, the LLM will produce identical output. Every. Single. Time. Hoping to get this message to ...

I've been thinking of writing for some time now. Not sure if this is the right place, but we will see. Saagar is worse about doing this, but Krystal was supported him. Saagar! China is not like Japan or South Korea. See this Utube post. These guys know more about China than you do.
I was thinking of writing to see if you get your information from anywhere besides CCP propaganda. Now I know that it comes straight from there. This post does a reaction to your post about that Chinese bridge you two reported on. I became a subscriber because I thought you guys were researched and could give me the best view of the news. I started questioning this when Saagar started looking so favorable on the CCP.
The CCP has never held up any agreement they made with other countries. They are a Dictatorship and operate like a crime syndicate with the powers of a State. None of their "breakthroughs" have proven to be real. The way they "concord" ...
