It’s time to build a new media ecosystem. The election proved that billionaire-owned corporate media will not properly cover the graft and malfeasance that lies ahead.
One of Breaking Points’ key partners in this new media landscape is The Lever, the reader-supported investigative news outlet whose reporting we’ve relied on for years. Just this past week, in a widely shared segment, Lever founder David Sirota joined Krystal and Sagaar to dissect Democrats’ crushing loss in the election.
Today, to help bolster essential independent media, we’re offering a major discount on a full Lever membership for Breaking Points supporters: a 50% forever discount off a Lever subscription.

The Lever has been at the forefront of critical investigative reporting and they’re just getting started. Long before Election Day, they sounded the alarm on matters that corporate media and the pundit class are just now admitting:
The need for Biden to drop out early in the campaign.
The importance of Democrats allowing a primary contest to find the best candidate.
The value of focusing on working-class struggles.
The short-sightedness of Harris campaigning with the Cheneys.
The corrupt financial aims of Trump boosters like Elon Musk.
A subscription to The Lever ensures you get award-winning reporting that will inform your actions as an engaged citizen. You’ll also get access to premium features like exclusive newsletters like “You Love To See It,” special live events, supporter-only e-books like The Citizens’ Guide To Holding The Powerful Accountable, premium podcasts like their chart-topping new series Master Plan, and more.
Most importantly, since The Lever is a reader-supported independent news outlet, your subscription directly funds this essential work, meaning you will help hold the powerful accountable.

We hope you take this offer today and enjoy The Lever as an excellent supplement to the reporting you get through Breaking Points.

The horseshoe theory is real. The modern progressive left and the fascist right are aligned when it comes to accepting the tyranny of the majority! This is why they don’t back very small ethnic groups like Yazidis, Druze, Kurds, etc. They have blindly picked a side, and they back them tribally. Even if Israel is doing this for their self-interest, liberals have to at least call for protection of these groups. We have seen what Sunni Arabs do to their ethnic minority groups such as Yazidis.
Are there plans to bring on Whitney Webb to discuss what we are seeing regarding Trump, Epstein, Howard Lutnick etc?
Im behind on episodes this week, but I heard Saagar's segment with Layne Norton and it made me so mad. I have my own formal education on nutrition science, and have helped many people in my career with health issues. Saagar references influencer culture in the segment, but doesn't realize he's still falling victim to it here with Norton (btw I miss the days where Saagar was aware of his bias based on personal friendships, never discusses it anymore or caveats things like he used to with JD Vance).
Norton is correct on a lot of points: coke is not better because you changed the sugar, addressing "weight" starts with socioeconomic issues (40 hour work week mainly), and the main issue for weight gain is caloric intake. Exercise is not a cure all but please do it as much as you can.
Norton simplified a lot of things and misrepresented scientific consensus in doing so, and approaches the obesity epidemic as a lack of exercise. He ignored omega 3 intake, used physical weight as an indicator of ...
