Breaking Points is an independent news program hosted by Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti. CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC are ripping us apart and making millions of dollars doing it. We don't have soulless billionaires or corporations backing our high end TV production, but we do have YOU. Together we're creating better, more insightful news to help us understand the world.

Krystal seems very separated from the reality of middle class families. Unfortunately these trans issues are real and they are really wreaking havoc in our adolescent girl population.

As the mother of a middle school girl that has fallen into this culture I can say that it's almost impossible to navigate. You aren't allowed to question their motives or thinking.

When I simply asked my 11 year old daughter to wait and not make grand announcements she ignored me, told everyone I was homophobic transphobic etc... (while I was actively planing my cousin's same sex wedding) then the school actively hid that she was claiming them/they pronouns at school as well as hiding from one of her friend's parents that they were going by a completely different name and gender all together.

When i say hiding I mean.... COMPLETELY going along with the child's proclaimed identity then pretending they don't at conferences and any parental interaction.

Now at 13 both of these girls have decided that maybe they are straight sis women.... but the social damage is done. The middle school boys don't want to go to the dance with someone who was a boy for the past 2 years. The popular girls noticed that the "weird" pretty girl likes boys now and she's got a target on her back. The LGBTQ+ group that they were part of is shaming and excluding them.

The worst part of all of it was that I wanted to be there for my daughter I wanted to tell her that puberty is awkward for all women. All women are uncomfortable in their bodies. Exploring your sexuality is normal. Trying on different identities is normal. But the public school system and liberal ideology told her I was the enemy and she was a victim.

I have found that my story is not rare, families are battling this all across the nation. There is no greater fear than the fear of a parent for a child in mental crisis.

So no, the trans issue is not a non issue and the dems need to take a long hard look in the mirror and start having some common sense approaches to this issue and stop treating parents like the enemy.

Hey, BP fam... Stumbled on this article from 2016 that I think really shows that this trend of "Democrats leaving the working class, so the working class is leaving the Democrats" has been going on for some time now...

@SaagarEnjeti tell us you're going to be on the ground at today's UFO hearing.

Shouldn’t we have disclosures of political endorsements similar to what the FTC requires of YouTubers for product endorsements or placements? See https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-16/chapter-I/subchapter-B/part-255

A celebrity political endorsement shouldn’t be disclosed only after the fact. It should be part of the same event as the endorsement itself. Just like YouTubers have to disclose any product support.
