Posting a local article to show how hard GA is fighting against data centers. I’m glad it is being highlighted that the existing commissioners were voted out. One of them even said he hoped it rained on Election Day so people wouldn’t come out to vote.

This is the thread for everyone who noticed James Li’s content has been treated as second-rate by BP by not syndicating it on the podcasts and locals platforms and just a Saturday upload to YouTube.
He shot his load and he missed his mark.
Maybe Ryan’s recent libel lawsuit influenced the decision to not risk that interview?! I know you’re all made out of money and can’t fathom not fighting this 💩 in protracted civil court cases, but that interview was with a black sheep at blaze not because of some powerful plot he uncovered, but because he’s a shitcon and James wants to be successful so tried to rattle the bars on his way out
This interview sucked and James can be trusted to recognize that what he thinks he has, isn’t anything worth risking BP over and he posted it anyways and called them out in the title. Seems very third grade recess and not very well-adjusted adult
If Breaking Points chooses to ignore the questions and not explain why James Li was let go, I will lose a lot of respect for this team. Letting James Li go and offering no explanation in hopes it will blow over is straight out of the political handbook, and I thought Breaking Points was different from the standard media.
If this continues to be ignored it will show they are truly no different. Hopefully it is addressed soon, because that will be disappointing.
James Li got himself dropped. I see everyone posting being upset about it, but as someone with no skin in the game, I can see why it happened. BP is a news organization that relies on the advice of their lawyers. If they publish something that gets them sued, many people risk their livelihoods AND they suffer reputational damage if found liable. Reputational damage that can then make it easier to win future claims against them. James Li is a journalist/youtuber that needs to make impactful content, but largely only has himself to worry about.
If James Li hadn’t published a video a few days ago basically calling out BP in the title, this probably would have remained an editorial disagreement. But once you call someone(s) out publicly, that damages your relationship with them. Feelings get involved and likely get hurt.
It’s hard to come back from that level of public escalation. You’d need a significant reason to move past it. And BP doesn’t seem to have any reason to keep him on ...
