WHY DID YOU GUYS FIRE JAMES LI?!?!?! That sucks…. I do think he’s a bit out there, but come on…. you could’ve at least leaned into the craziness and called his segment “Tin Foil Hats” or “The Conspiracy” and then put a disclaimer saying “his views are his own”, or “for entertainment purposes only” or whatever.
I get that you guys are getting more serious, but don’t get sucked into the bullshit where you care more about how you’re monetized. Keep the crazy! We need the crazy! The world is crazy! James Li isn’t even that crazy.

@BreakingPoints Please speak candidly about severing the relationship with James Li (especially with regard to BP's stated principle of independence from external influence) before that vacuum is filled with incorrect assumptions from your and particularly his audience.
I'm betting this question will not go away until answered to the satisfaction of fellow BP supporters.
What's this about James Li being let go because he doesn't align with your future directions. I'm a left leaning person and find his investigations useful, and at times, harder hitting and more informative than your normal show. He has a lot of good stuff and is a good journalist. I've seen a lot of people saying they will be unsubscribing because of this. I think you all should really re-think terminating your relationship with him. You should be expanding your content and who it could appeal to...not narrowing it.
