THE SHUTDOWN IS ENDING, DEMS GET NOTHING
Senate Dems are voting for a (non) deal to end the shutdown.
Republicans get to take a win while Senate Dems yield to whatever Republicans want uin exchange for a “promise” to allow a MID-DECEMBER VOTE on the ACA subsidies.
Notice, there is no promise to allow a vote now with the deal, nor a promise to vote for and fund the subsidies. As well as the fact it’s a “promise”. Pinky swear!
Dems are literally throwing away all of their power and leverage for empty promises from the most corrupt regime America has ever seen; one which has already betrayed most if not all of its promises - unless it’s fascist in nature.
One might speculate that Senate and establishment Dems want to quell any and all excitement and inertia that leftists and progressives have accomplished this past week.
The joke will be on them, however, when they face primary challenges like they’ve never seen before. We could get an entirely New Democratic Party if people just ...
