It’s really disappointing that schizophrenia has been referenced over and over this week, somehow in relation to these shootings. I can’t imagine being a schizophrenic audience member or their family member listening to this. It’s uneducated and unrelated. The vast majority of schizophrenic people seek treatment. They are not shooting up schools en masse. Maybe it’s time to bring a mental health professional onto the show to dispel these myths. Show some empathy towards folks who were born with an illness and are just doing their best. If this continues, I’ll have to stop supporting this show. It’s just mean spirited.
