If y'all are guest hosting, bring in the rest of the Rising crew. At least Katie Halper, who in addition to her own bonafides, was Ryan's replacement on Rising and was fired for criticism of Israel well before 10/11/23.

The Spotify connection has been fixed and we're seeing the majority of users able to connect via the instructions here:
Connect To Spotify: https://support.locals.com/en/article/connecting-to-spotify-dtbjpj/?bust=1745352886430
However some are still having issues, so we'd like to flag a few common ones:
Make Sure you're using the WEB BROWSER not the APP when following the guide
The instruction guide shows TWO different methods. You only need to follow the steps to ONE.
Audio hits Spotify a few minutes before Video each day, if you're seeing Audio only wait 5-10 minutes and the video will appear!

I have good but poignant news. Today's episode of my favourite Irish sports podcast features Abubaker Abed. I would post a link but the Second Captains podcast is behind the Patreon paywall. This one might be unlocked so if you're interested it might be worth checking.

Abubaker is safe in Ireland. He made it there on a student visa. He is recovering from malnutrition and worried about his friends and family who remain in Gaza. He previously turned down the scholarship which enabled him to get out, but things have deteriorated to the point where he had to leave.
It's very sad, but at least he is safe
My company is gutting 7/11 production employees in US.
For context my company post COVID had been doubling effort to have production in US in a localisation effort. Focused on putting final assembly. Put products is quite custom products so that final assy and testing is quite significant. Extra HC, added leadership HC, testers etc.
The sub assemblies are made in China as they don't require customisation and can be mass produced. They are made in on of our branchs that ships to US UK and Australia.
Post tariff obviously shipping direct to US sub assy from China for them to make finished product is not financially doable. So instead our prod site in UK is going to make the goods and ship to US. Tariff still, but cost increase is less than half in real terms and that allow us to increase price by less as well.
But end result we don't need production in US so HC left are purely for stock management
