Is there anything we can do to help support Ryan during this difficult time? He may want privacy and flexibility from the BP community more than anything. Still, if there is something respectful and tangible that we can do as a collective, that would be amazing. He's such a thoughtful and intelligent person who gives a voice to people with little agency. Do you have any ideas?
So I just updated the Locals app and it opened to a statement that a Rumble acct will be required in 2025 to use the Locals app. I do not want Rumble nor will I be creating an acct to access locals. So I guess if I can't get to my premium Breaking Points I'll be canceling my subscription. I really don't want to but I won't be forced to create an account on yet another platform I have no interest in using.
Does the prioritization of finding and prosecuting the killer of Brian Thompson, a private citizen, violate the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment? Per the FBI, NYPD's homicide clearance rate was 27% in 2020, and that appears to be the most recent number reported by anyone outside the NYPD itself. Did the math here and that seems to mean that of 462 recorded murders that year, 337 went unsolved. Don't those victims' families deserve the same commitment to justice from our law enforcement agencies?
