Quick question. I’m subscribed for the year, happy to pay for genuinely good reporting. Why is it that I’m seeing todays show up on YouTube already, for the ‘free audience’, yet those of us who have paid haven’t gotten the emails or notifications since it’s not even up on Locals yet? Why do I consistently have to see you guys on YouTube before I ever see you on Locals? Also, it seems like the benefits and the perks are for the free YouTube subscribers as opposed to us here. Great reporting, but the technical side of things makes me want to go back to being just a random free YouTube subscriber. PS. the YouTube segment has already been up for 45 minutes.
Lost respect for @SaagarEnjeti with his comments on 11/16 on Haitian TPS holders and making gag sounds about Haitian food. Really? You should respect peoples and cultures while you legitimately think some individuals broke the law, if they even did that, or if you don’t like the law (or you don’t happen to like their cuisine - wtf cares?). Every culture and cuisine has lovers and haters. Some think an American burger is gag-worthy. So what? Disrespect and childish gagging is silly, uncalled for and takes away from any substance you may have to offer.
Kudos to Krystal for being able yo hold her cool in the face of this junk.
FWIW, I’m personally not even remotely Haitian, not that this should matter in the least.
