Will BP cover the Ski Patroller Union Strike that has completely locked up Park City Ski resort?
CEO of Vail Resorts, Kristen Lynch, negotiated in bad faith for months leading up to the 2024/2025 ski season and refused to give these essential professionals a reasonable wage increase for one of the highest cost of living areas in the country.
As a result of the strike, thousands of visitors to Park City have had their holiday vacation ruined. Customers have been injured and are receiving no care from the scab patrollers that have been trucked in by Vail from around the country.
National news outlets haven't covered this important labor story. I hope it has been brought to the attention of the wonderful team at BP/CP and the workers who brave the winter to make a safe environment for our enjoyment can be treated with respect and compensated adequately for their incredible efforts.
I would love some kind of review of "Thank you Dr. Fauci" or an interview with the director Jenner First.
The film proposes that Fauci is like our modern Oppenheimer, and it makes a compelling case, but I'm wondering how reliable the facts are (I know some of these facts have been discussed by BP/CP already).
Unfortunately they mixed in ideas that are quickly dismissed as conspiracy theories (HIV from polio vaccine and Lyme disease from research lab) so there is no way mainstream media, or anyone towing the fauci side, will take it seriously.
That said, even without those conspiracy theories, the rest of the information (faucis prior controversies, the covid timeline, individuals involved, industry/government connections) make a strong case against fauci and others.
I'd love to hear a clear headed BP or CP take in this movie! Should we care about this? Does any of this matter?
